Storage Conditions
First: Instructions when transporting and storing the product
Upon production, the tubes are packed with a wooden frame, and the number of tubes in the bundle depends on the diameter of the tubes. They are placed in an alternating head-to-tail manner in order to preserve them, and they are loaded onto cars automatically.
The pipes are tested according to the standard specifications produced on their basis and their compliance with the standard specifications is ensured by the knowledge of quality engineers. A card is affixed to each connection indicating that it has passed the test.
When unloading the pipes on the site, it is preferable for them to be unloaded using a crane. If this is not possible, the pipes are unloaded gently on flat ground or on pieces of wood, and the pipes are placed in stacks and in an alternating manner, provided that the number of rows does not exceed five or a height of one meter so that the pipes are not exposed to dents.
If the tubes are stored for a long period, they must be placed in a storeroom or under a canopy to protect them from direct sunlight.
Second: Instructions when transporting pipes to the site
The pipes inside the site must be carefully taken care of by not hitting them with any solid object so as not to damage them, and also not to expose them to direct sunlight or any other heat source, taking into account not to leave them for a long period on the edge of the trench. They must also be installed immediately after being transported, and due to the light weight of these pipes, they can be lifted to the roof of the car. Or lower it by manpower, and if it is necessary to roll it off the roof of the car, then wooden boards free of any nails are required, and it can be raised or lowered using non-metallic ropes. Care must be taken with the rings used for connection during installation or storage, as mentioned previously.
Third: Instructions when installing
The instructions contained in the building code must be taken into account for the design and implementation of pipelines for drinking water and sewage networks.
You must refer to the instructions of the project consultant, which indicate the type of soil (good – normal – rocky) and follow the instructions in terms of the quantity at the bottom of the pipe as well as at the top.
Before installation, you must make sure to clean the rubber ring and the pipe head well from dust, and make sure that the tail enters the head. Special pipe installation grease must be used to facilitate the installation process, and that the two pipes are in one straight line.
